Relaxing Saturday...

Abby had a sleepover at her friend Piper's place over the weekend.  It was a birthday sleepover since Abby and Piper's birthdays are 2 days apart.  However, it was also right before the spring break, therefore they had this party after the spring break.  Piper's parents are very nice and planned a lot of activities for the girls.

As a single parent, this is a rare opportunity for me to have some alone time.  I planned a lot of things to do during Abby's absence, but in the end, napping and sleeping won the battle.  Yawn...  I guess that the grown up movies and other entertainments would just have to wait for another time, maybe during summer when I have the whole month for myself.  :P

  2. Yeah but I'm here in this pathetic little island :(

It has been ridiculously hot and humid here, which melts everyone. I hate humidity.

  3. We just need to do something about it, isn't it? :)

  4. Yeah you're right. So maybe you should lose some weight to feel cooler. LOL! Kids would hate their parents to become "heavy weight middle-aged people".

I hope my sinus allergy gets better :(

  5. Ouch, working on that too. :P

My weight gain has a lot to do with Abby. I don't really like left-overs. With myself it's easy to cook proper portion, with a kid it's hard. I had to clean-up everything. Big mistake! So, I adapt to accept left-overs now.

  6. Oh yes I adapt left-over all the time. I guess my work keeps me slim, as I need to move or dance or walk all the time.

But when I gain weight, I choose to ignore and lie to myself. LOL!

  7. It'd be a long while, if ever, would you need to concern about it. Your buffer zone is still huge. :)

  8. Yes I know. Haha. I feel myself fat, but people keep saying I'm slim.

  9. That's a dangerous subject and I'd choose to remain silence. :P Besides, pictures usually don't do justice.
